Real-Life Experience — Coffee That Feels Fresh, Balanced, and Intentional
One weekend I switched from pre-ground groceries to using the Virtuoso Plus. I loaded fresh beans, chose a medium-coarse setting for pour-over, and brewed. The aroma hit me first. The taste was brighter, more balanced — richer body, smoother finish. Even simple drip coffee tasted noticeably more complex. It made me appreciate the difference freshly—and evenly—ground beans make.
Grinding fresh and hearing coffee bloom during the pour-over reminded me that good beans deserve a grinder that treats them right.
What to Know — Honest Details Before You Buy
-
Virtuoso Plus is best suited for drip, pour-over, French press, and manual brewing — not optimised for portafilter-style espresso.
-
It doesn’t have built-in dosing or timer-based automation — you grind manually and measure by volume/weight if needed.
-
As with any burr grinder, occasional cleaning and maintenance helps preserve performance and flavour over time.
For most home coffee drinkers who brew moderate daily amounts, these are small trade-offs given the improvement in taste and consistency.
